Overview
Voicemeeter is a virtual audio mixer for Windows. It presents hardware and software sources as strips, mixes them on buses, and exposes virtual devices so Discord, Skype, OBS, games and DAWs can share one coherent signal path.
Drivers speak WDM, KS, MME, DirectX, WaveRT and ASIO. Sample rates follow your main output A1 configuration, up to 192 kHz depending on edition and device.

Physical inputs and app playback enter strips. You assign buses. Hardware outs and virtual outs leave toward speakers, headsets and capture apps.

Restart Windows after install (and after uninstall) so virtual devices register cleanly.

Assign A1 to your main interface, point apps at Voicemeeter VAIO, then follow step zero in the manual mindset: one change at a time.
Community
Paraphrased from public reviews and tutorial culture around streaming desks. Hover the strip to pause.
“Banana is the piece I did not know I needed. Once the buses clicked, Discord and OBS finally stopped fighting. I still wish the first-hour learning curve were gentler.”
“Separate game, Discord and music into OBS tracks without buying hardware. Buffer tweaks fixed my crackling after I stopped forcing WDM on every strip.”
“Works. Antivirus yelled once on install. Allowed it, rebooted, meters lit up.”
“Potato’s FX and VBAN cover our dual-PC stream. Macro Buttons as a cart machine is oddly perfect for live bits.”
“Intellipan and Audibility cleaned a cheap USB mic for Zoom better than another round of Windows enhancements.”
